What did you learn about forvo? What are the strengths and weaknesses of this tool? This program is really great, especially for language teacher's that are not native speakers. This program gives students to hear the vocabulary they are learning first hand and can then practice repeating this as many times as needed.
What instructional problems could you use this technology for? Students who don't have the accent down could spend time using Forvo and after hearing the language and practicing pronouncing it, would be much better off.
What are 2-3 other activities other than your lesson plan that you posted on your blog that you could use this technology for in your own teaching? List the instructional standards if you can identify them.
Comparing words with other languages; such as latin, english stems, etc.
Choosing a category and then studying all the words within that. This would be a good assignment that could correlate with a chapter from the book: if per say the chapter was on transportation, there is a category on forvo that encompasses all of those types of words.
